PEMANFAATAN TANAH LATERIT DI PELATARAN SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF CAMPURAN LAPIS PONDASI BAWAH
Abstract
Abstrak: Dibalik kekayaan sumber daya alamnya, Pulau Kalimantan juga memiliki kekurangan. Salah satu kekurangannya ialah sebagian besar jenis tanah yang menutupi Pulau Kalimantan adalah jenis tanah Liat dan gambut. Sehingga untuk kegiatan konstruksi sering mengalami kendala karena jenis tanah ini susah stabil. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk dapat memanfaatkan Tanah Laterit sebagai material Alternatif Tambahan campuran timbunan Lapis Pondasi Bawah Agregat Kelas B .
Metode yang digunakan dalam Penelitian ini yaitu Metode Analisis Saringan, Metode Berat Jenis, Atterbert Limit , Procktor, CBR ( California Bearing Ratio ). Pengujian dilakuakan di Laboratorium PT. Bawan Permai Grup. Pada Campuran Campuran Tanah Laterit 20% dan Agregat Kelas B 80% diperoleh hasil material bergradasi Kasar, Berat jenis gabungan 2,633 Gr/cm3,
Kepadatan kering maksimal 2,125 Gr/cm3, Kadar air optimum 7,5 %, Batas Plastis 19,19 %, Batas cair 28 %, Plastis Indeks 8,8 %, dan Nilai CBR Laboratorium 69 %, Untuk nilai hasil dari Pengujian Analisis saringan, Berat jenis, Atterberg limit, Uji kepadatan ( Proctor), CBR (California Bearing Ratio) Semua sudah memenuhi Standar Spesifikasi yang di tentukan sehingga Campuran Laterit 20% dan Agregat Kelas B 80% bisa digunakan sebagai Alternatif Timbunan Lapis Pondasi Bawah. Pada Campuran Campuran Tanah Laterit 30% dan Agregat Kelas B 70% diperoleh hasil material bergradasi Kasar, Berat jenis gabungan 2,625 Gr/cm3,
Kepadatan kering maksimal 2,119 Gr/cm3, Kadar air optimum 8 %, Batas Plastis 18.5 %, Batas cair 28 %, Plastis Indeks 9,2 %, dan Nilai CBR Laboratorium 62 %, Untuk nilai hasil dari Pengujian Analisis saringan, Berat jenis, Atterberg limit, Uji kepadatan ( Proctor), CBR (California Bearing Ratio) Semua sudah memenuhi Standar Spesifikasi yang di tentukan sehingga Campuran Laterit 30% dan Agregat Kelas B 70% bisa digunakan sebagai Alternatif Timbunan Lapis Pondasi Bawah.
